While all FWB initiatives are member-led, we also rely on dedicated contributors to fill various full-time and part-time roles within the organization. Contributors ensure successful onboarding for new members, create newsletters, write for our in-house editorial platform, engage new partnership opportunities, oversee the DAO's governance, and more.

Contributors are compensated in $FWB or $USDC, and will soon receive health benefits. While many contributors begin as FWB members, we welcome all applications. FWB is committed to working with people who have a diverse array of backgrounds and experiences.

FWB is looking for a high-energy and skilled backend developer with a passion for pushing the envelope to join the FWB Product Department on the Internal Product team. 

The Internal Product team has a hand in almost everything that happens around FWB. We work closely with the main Product team on supporting their roadmap and designing automations/solutions for a host of consumer facing properties (GateKeeper™, NFT Gallery, etc.), as well as building custom internal automations/tooling for other FWB teams as they scale.

FWB Backend Developer

As a FWB Front-End developer, you’ll join the product team that designs, builds, evolves and maintains the crucial FWB digital ecosystem. Your work will be featured prominently and be used by our members. Additionally, you will provide technical support and engineering team to our working groups in realizing community-spun projects and proposals.

We’re looking for an engineer with a strong background in building web applications, mobile interfaces and tools. We are 100% remote.

FWB Frontend/Creative Developer

We are looking for an extraordinary visual designer to join the FWB Product Department to work across various product design needs that arise within the DAO. You are a natural collaborator and an excellent communicator, able to develop and execute design ideas in a fast-paced, a-sync work environment. Visual product designers balance spirit and rationality; brand and product; functional clarity and emotional impact. You will work closely with developers and cross-functional teams across the DAO. You should possess extraordinary visual and user interface design skills, as well as user-centered design principals. You have an affinity for consistency, color use, typography, and a keen eye for vibes™. While exercising a good eye for aesthetics, you are able to grasp and distill complex DAO needs and translate them into clean, focused, understandable solutions. An interest in Web3/Blockchain technology an a willingness to learn and adapt to this every changing technological landscape are a must. You should be a self-starter, self-motivated, able to work independently, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision. The work that you will design will be an integral part of the visual future and user experience of Web3.

FWB Product Design

The biggest challenge DAOs face as it relates to contributor pathways is matching skilled contributors with the right functions within a DAO.

The FWB Contributor Relations role will be a critical member to the team, playing a blended role of both recruiter and community management by being the first touch point for potential contributor hires that join the FWB DAO and setting the strategy with Team Leads on hiring needs.

Collaborate with Team Leads to determine necessary full time or part time hires to accomplish team goals

Develop community inbound and outbound strategies to attract the best talent to participate in FWB

Create an onboarding process for new contributors once joined to maximize success in role and squad.

Consistent savviness and participation in crypto twitter to see what exciting talent, authors, contributors, or builders are out there.

Manage pipeline of candidates in conversation with

Hosting FWB programming and sessions to further share opportunities to collaborate with FWB from a contributor level

Provide updates on FWB Town Halls about roles in need

Designated point person for questions about “how to get more involved” in FWB by proxy of creating documentation, onboarding materials, and more.

This team is responsible for developing creative tools and web dApps that respond to community needs and bring value to FWB members. The tools and products we develop will not only be used internally but will raise the bar for DAOs and Web3 applications across the board. You are a natural collaborator and an excellent communicator, able to develop and execute ideas in a fast-paced, a-sync work environment. You will work closely with designers and cross-functional teams across the DAO. An interest in Web3/Blockchain technology and a willingness to learn and adapt to this ever-changing technological landscape are key for this role. You should be a self-starter, self-motivated, able to work independently, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision.

Experience working with: React, Nextjs, React Three Fiber, Web3.js, Ethers.js
